Bryn,
My heart is full and complete with you in my life. I look at your sweet, round face and adore you. Your eyes are so blue and bright! You've been squealing lately, this high pitched laugh-like squeal. I can make you laugh a little too, by gobbling up your tummy. I think it tickles a bit 'cause you wiggle and laugh. You'll babble and coo, and you're starting to make sounds as I pat your mouth with my finger, making funny noises. You're still spitting up alot, but some days are better than others. You love to sit and stand, with help of course, but you're really good at it. I got out the excersaucer and you're able to sit in it and watch what's going on around you. You have a pretty normal routine now, you'll eat every 3 hours, play for about an hour, then take a nap for about an hour and a half before you eat again. At night, you're pretty good about sleeping 9 straight hours, eat, then sleep another 3. It just depends on when I put you to bed. I tried putting you to sleep at 8, but you'd wake up at 4 am, and I didn't like that. So I think it's best when I feed you your last feeding at 11, then another at 8. That makes it seem like you sleep through the night, even though it's the same amount of hours. I love nursing you. Your little hands move about and reach up to touch my face, and arms. You'll stop drinking to smile at me. You like to be swaddled when I put you to bed, and you like your legs to be squished up, "indian style", and lifted with a blanket. I'm not sure how I figured that out! You fall asleep really quickly once your swaddle blanket is on, like I've conditioned you. Your sister loves you to pieces, and will rub your nose with hers, give you kisses, and try to get kisses from you. You don't really like people touching your face, and I don't think you really like it when she's all over you, but you're a good sport. You do watch her very closely, and she likes to perform for you. She's always thinking of you and remembering you- when she says goodnight, when she sings songs, when we go bye-bye with or without you... I love it. She does want what you have though, so I think you're going to have a few battles ahead of you. I'll try and train her now :o).
I love you, I love to snuggle with you, and hold you, and smell you, and stare at you, and feel your soft skin and your little fingers caress my skin. I'm so glad I get to be your mommy!
Love,
Mommy
